The Torsion Set up Tech Class A is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and the operation of Torsion machines. You’re also responsible for preventive maintenance, cleaning and quality checks of your assigned machinery to ensure delivery of parts to our customer in a timely manner. In the Torsion area, we have a strong teamwork atmosphere and a good work ethic.
- Responsible for the setup, troubleshooting, and running all Torsion machines.
- Show Competency in all Tech 1 Functions:
- Works with Managers, Supervisor, leads and other team members to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Work with Supervisor, Engineering and tool room per customer needs for new parts
- Help design, build, and maintain tooling.
- Help design, build, and maintain machine programs, including sensors.
- Responsible for inspecting parts and Plex data entry of all hourly checks
- Physically loading material onto machine(s).
- Set-up Torsion machines (maintenance, cleaning etc.)
- Control and adjust machine settings to form a quality part.
- Fix any issues that may occur during your assigned shift.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 Years of CNC machining preferred but not required
- Ability to enter data into automated systems (e.g., PLEX).
- Use of measurement devices… Calipers, Micrometers, optical comparator, load testers

- Blueprint reading and knowledge of GD+T- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve clearly defined issues.
