Parthenon Tube, Inc. has immediate full-time Maintenance Technician positions available.
These positions will be responsible for installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of both the production equipment and the physical plant. The work can be very complex, requiring in-depth knowledge of general industrial maintenance practices and procedures to select the appropriate course of action.

Position Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the standard setup, routine maintenance and daily operation of production machines and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture
•Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
•Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.
•Inspect, condition and rebuild tooling for mills
•Regrind mill and recut machine jaws
•Inspect and re-condition ID scarf equipment
•Assemble rolls with bearings
•Responsible for quick roll change cassettes with accurate set ups
•Ship and receive tooling purchased or sent out for special repair
•Maintain tooling and jaws inventory
•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Possess a working knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality system
•Able to read, write and comprehend operating instructions, maintenance information, work instructions and procedure manuals written in English
•Able to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
•Able to read a tape measure, micrometers for exact measurements
•Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and/or individuals
•Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
•Able to use a PC for recording all tooling inspections
•Hearing ability sufficient to receive information through verbal communication
•Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Education Requirements
•High school diploma, GED or equivalent, required
•Six months – one (1) year of related experience and/or training
Licenses/Designations and Certifications
•Forklift license/certification, required
