AnTech is a fast growing specialist directional coiled tubing drilling service company. The technology has been developed in house and has been deployed around the world including USA, Australia, and the Middle East. AnTech provides the specialist downhole tools, equipment and the expert personnel to carry out successful coiled tubing drilling campaigns. The company is headquartered in the UK and has operational facilities in Seguin, Texas.
Purpose of Your Role
The Tool Specialist’s role is to support AnTech’s directional coiled tubing drilling (DCTD) services. The Tool Specialist has responsibility for the maintenance and repair of tools in the workshop and in field locations. This role will require ad hoc domestic and international travel and extended periods of time away from home location. During projects travel for 3-6 weeks may be required with the usual period being 3-4 weeks. Suitable time off will be provided after periods away.
The role is primarily based in Seguin, Texas with rotations to the field project locations as required.
Role Priorities and Key Responsibilities
•Maintain and service downhole and surface tools and equipment.
•Assembly/disassembly of mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
•Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software systems in a logical staged process.
•Know and understand the operational specifications (limits) of the downhole MWD tools.
•Perform fault finding with BHA and wireline.
•Troubleshooting any electrical or mechanical issues with the tools or the software.
•Prepare tool transfer reports and tool maintenance reports.
•Monitor assets and levels of stock at the field and workshop location.
•Generate reports on stock and assets.
•Attend all AnTech downhole tools related technical training.
•Maintain workshop facility in an organized and tidy manner.
•Perform on-the-job training for new Tool Specialists.
•Capability to work with online enterprise systems Acumatica and Innovator software.
•Continue to build upon the strong reputation AnTech has established for customer service.
•Interact and develop good professional relationships with all co-workers in order for all of our jobs to be done effectively.

Key Experience and Qualifications Required
•Associates degree or higher in an engineering or other technical degree.
•Experience working on electrical and mechanical equipment.
•Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex systems.
•Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
•Previous international experience is preferred.
•Current valid passport is essential.
•Must be available to travel extensively domestically and internationally.
•Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
•Competent with using a computer including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
•Previous experience in stock control would be desirable.
