Tool and Die Maker/repair

We are looking for an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining dies, jigs, fixtures, and other tools used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of metalworking processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine tool design.

- Develop tooling for mass production of parts and components.

- Design, construct, and modify tools and dies to meet customer requirements.

- Maintain and repair existing tools and dies.

- Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate parts.

- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
