Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role primarily for a TIG Welder with MIG Welding and fabrication experience, located in Warren, MI. The TIG Welder will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to weld components with precision and accuracy. The TIG Welder will also need to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, inspect welds for quality, and ensure that all work meets the required standards of safety and quality. Additionally, the TIG Welder will be responsible for collaborating with team members to optimize processes and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years in TIG welding and experience with other welding techniques

- Minimum 5 years experience in fabricating and fitting

- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Strong skills in setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment

- Attention to detail, quality control, and ability to inspect welds

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively

- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding

- Experience in the automotive or defense industry is a plus

- A relevant certification or degree is preferred
