Tig Welder Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled aluminum Tig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various welding techniques, specifically TIG welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components according to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Duties
•
Perform aluminumTIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and clean welds.
•
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
•
Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components as per specifications.
•
Operate additional equipment such as forklifts, press brake machines, and plasma cutting tools as needed.
•
Rig materials for welding processes, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
•
Proven experience in TIG welding is required; additional experience in other welding techniques is a plus.
•
Familiarity with operating forklifts and other machinery related to metal fabrication is preferred.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•
Experience in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
•
Prior experience with press brake machines and plasma cutting will be considered an advantage.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
