Entry Level TIG Welder

We have hoses in decompression chambers at the bottom of the ocean and hoses that control the environmental system on the International Space Station and just about everywhere in between. Starting pay: $16 / hr.

Duties include:

· Welding Metal Hose Products (TIG)

· Assembly of stainless-steel wire braided hose products

· Operates all equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits.

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment, including compliance with safety procedures, rules and regulations.

· Follows specifications or procedures for hose assemblies using blueprints, work instructions and fabrication knowledge.

· Pulls inventory from warehouse.

· Conducts tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and tolerance.

· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.

· Willingness to cross-train and perform work of other job tasks when necessary.

The successful candidate will have the following competencies:

- Welding Experience not necessary

- 12-months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience preferred.

- Basic math skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure and calipers.

- Basic skills required to accurately read blueprints and work orders.

- Capability to lift 50 lbs.

- Attention to detail is a must.

- Great attendance is mandatory

The position is based in North Canton, Ohio and is NOT remote. Specialty Hose offers a competitive benefits package to all employees.
