The Position
Candidates should have experience in all aspects of IT Helpdesk support and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Candidates should also be a self-motivated team player with analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Candidates should be willing to learn and develop new skills that support the responsibilities outlined below.
Responsibilities
•Provide support and troubleshooting of complicated issues on the Helpdesk.
•Provide high level customer services consistent with IT best practices.
•Assist with end user system deployments and upgrades.
•Assist in the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
•Develop documentation for new and existing workflows
•Assist with testing new software, service packs, and patches
•Occasional travel may be required as needed
Requirements
•BS/BA degree in the field of computers is required
•Minimum of 3-5 years working in IT support is required
•In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based client operating systems.
•Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
•Experience with windows networking and/or a CompTIA Networking+ certification is preferred by not required.
•Working knowledge of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model
•Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs on IT assets, and provide support for a wide range of applications.
•Knowledge of Virtual Server Infrastructure Systems (Hyper-V and Citrix)
•SharePoint administration experience is preferred but not required
