Job Summary
Our expanding company within the industrial valves, instrumentation, and service industry is looking for a Territory Account Manager to oversee outside sales for industrial chemical, power, oil and gas markets within Northern Ohio.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Schedule visits to customers and potential customers, “all customers” hereinafter.
•Follow up on all customer emails and phone calls within 24 hours. Time is of the essence!
•Reach out to your direct supervisor for questions and expertise.
•Be able to understand the functionality and details of all valves, instrumentation, and services the company offers.
•Build relationships with all customers, understand their service needs, and offer applicable product and services solutions which may be of interest.
•Increase sales and profit margins for your accounts.
•Open new customer accounts on a monthly basis
•Always maintain professionalism.
•Thrives on providing incredible customer service experience.
•Enjoys face-to-face interactions with all customers.
•Drive to all customer locations for site visits.
•Attending company required training(s) and expanding one’s knowledgebase and skillset
•Remains an optimistic, highly motivated, and success-driven
•Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
•Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing strategic goals and relationships.
•Complete demonstrations highlighting the unique features and benefits of products.
•Effectively utilize sales resources including demo equipment, presentations, joint sales calls, and the company’s CRM software systems.
Job Status & Work Schedule
•Workdays are Monday – Friday during normal business hours, and as needed.
•Full-time. Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, and as needed.
Work Location & Travel Requirements
•Must travel to Tallmadge, OH office periodically throughout the year as-needed/ as-requested by your direct supervisor.
•Mixed work location requirements. Approximately 70% over the road visiting all customers, and 30% of the time working at-home office.
•Approximately 10% of overnight travel is required throughout the year.
Education & Experience
•5 years’ experience in Technical Sales, required.
•Proven track record in territory growth and management experience in process industries, preferred.
•Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing all customers), required.
•Excellent time and territory management skills, required.
•Degree preferred but not mandatory.
•Previous experience with pressure relief devices, control valves, and instrumentation, highly preferred
•Must have a current legal driver’s license, as well as maintain a clean driving record meeting both the company’s and DOT’s standards.

•Strong communication and presentation skills required.
•Must be able to comprehend the company’s service processes.
•Must be able to safely operate a vehicle.
