Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a long-term broadband program focused on infrastructure development and digital inclusion. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams and multi-million-dollar projects, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with state and federal grant requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead broadband infrastructure and community engagement projects from planning to execution.
•Oversee last-mile and middle-mile network deployment in underserved areas.
•Manage state/federal grant-funded initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and financial reporting.
•Supervise a team of project staff and external vendors/contractors.
•Facilitate community engagement and collaborate with government, nonprofit, and private sector partners.
•Maintain project documentation, timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
•Represent the program at local events and stakeholder meetings.
•Stay informed on broadband trends and digital equity strategies.
Daily/Weekly Duties:
•Host and document project meetings.
•Track timelines, deliverables, and report any issues within 24 hours.
•Attend governance meetings and update project documentation weekly.
•Coordinate communication and change management across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 12 years in Information Technology.
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
•At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects.
•Strong technical and user communication skills.
•Must be able to work onsite full-time.
•Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with broadband/network infrastructure projects.
•Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
•Excellent written and verbal communication.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
