Overview: Technical Trainer
We are hiring an experienced Technical Trainer to educate internal team members and clients on the CarWash Controls product. If you have experience developing and evaluating technical training materials and presenting those programs in a classroom or remote setting, you may be an ideal candidate for this role.
Responsibilities
- Become a master of the technology products within the car wash industry
- Gain a strong knowledge of car wash operations and thorough understanding of car wash controls
- Assist in classroom and remote onsite training sessions regarding CarWash Controls operations
- Assist in the creation of new programs as needed to fit the growth of the Controls Training department and changes to the industry
- Develop and execute training programs as needed for internal use or other Sonny's divisions
- Creation and updating of Sonny's manuals
- Continuing education and training of Tech Support and Field Tech associates
- Schedule training sessions with customers as needed
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of features and procedures
- Provide resolution and response in a timely and accurate manner
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and some travel required
- Help with any projects that may be assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a Associate Degree or Trade School in a related field or two years of work related experience
- 2+ years expereince in a technical training capacity- Experience training advanced manufacturing technologies or software applications
- Strong mechanical, electrical and technical aptitude
- Ability to develop and deliver effective teaching methodologies
- Experience with training in a classroom and virtual environment
- Skilled in adult learning methods
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
