Technical Support Engineer

Reports to: Head of Engineering Department

Job Summary

- Evaluates customers' requirements.

- Reviews, evaluates, and assists sales department in development of product.

- Responsible for processing the orders in a timely manner.

- Responsible for creation of SolidWorks 3D model using various techniques.

- Responsible for creation of SolidWorks drawing.

- Responsible for creation of Quality Control form using SolidWorks Inspection.

- Implement changes to 3D models, drawings, quality control forms.

- Consults with Production Managers by gathering DATA required for 3D models and drawings.

- Maintains and updates a database, SolidWorks Library.

- Maintains communication with various departments within the company.

- Interpret, explain, and apply Lexco's rules, policies, and regulations.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

- Associate degree or higher.

- Proficient in SolidWorks.

- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.

- Ability to use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, etc

- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which after training provides the

required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Familiar with ISO.

- Requires knowledge of modern office practices and procedures including recordkeeping,

computer applications, data entry, practices, and procedures.

- Knowledge of interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with internal staff.

- Ability to work in a lead and independent capacity.

Helpful but not required

- Proficient in SolidWorks Inspection.

- Familiar with various Industrial Standards.

- Ability to use general business software.

Physical Demands

While performing essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to stand and walk.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
