As a Technical Specialist Automation supporting our automation processes, you will develop and complete equipment condition-based maintenance programs, repair and improve operational reliability of automation infrastructure and systems, support automation equipment outage and maintenance, and support Tier 2 field personnel, Tech Services, and others as needs arise.
Some of the work you will be doing also includes:* Performing management of change plan and work plan reviews
Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are vital in this role. Taking initiative, anticipating customer needs and crafting innovative solutions are keys to success! Responsibilities/Expectations:* Demonstrates technical expertise in automation for specialty, geographic area, or operational function
Education/Years of Experience: Technical Specialist II* Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in technical field and a minimum two (2) years’ experience in oil & gas industry
Technical Specialist III* Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in oil & gas industry
Technical Specialist Sr* Required: High school diploma/GED and minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry
Other Requirements:* Must be willing to travel up to 50%
