Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and deliver engaging training programs on HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) for employees and contractors/customers.
•Provide classroom instruction, hands-on training, and live demonstrations.
•Assess technician skill levels and tailor training programs to address gaps and opportunities.
•Collaborate with management to identify training needs and performance metrics.
•Maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation in accordance with industry standards.
•Ensure training aligns with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
•Track and report training progress and performance outcomes.
•Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technologies, tools, and trends.
•Serve as a technical mentor and resource for field staff.
•Support onboarding processes and continuing education initiatives.
•Work with local governing bodies to apply for and issue continuing education CEs
Qualifications:
•Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or service.
•Prior experience as a trainer, educator, or technical mentor preferred.
•EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification preferred.
•State license preferred if applicable to residence
•Strong knowledge of HVAC theory, system diagnostics, code compliance, and safety practices.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Proficient with modern training tools and platforms (PowerPoint, LMS systems, etc.).
•Strong organizational and documentation skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
•Valid driver's license and clean driving record (travel to branches is required).
