POSITION OVERVIEW: The Team Lead, leads and supervises the department, while supporting the Press Department Supervisor. They make decisions on changes in production schedules and quality issues when they arise. They must have the ability to always ensure a safe and clean working environment, as well as working on production assignments.
This position is eligible for a $1000 Sign-on Bonus
- Maintain and coordinate production schedules to support department supervisor, Otherwise, this position is a working production assignment.
- Plan and coordinate work to be performed
- Ensure safe and clean working environment.
- Promote quality, productivity, and a positive environment for employees.
- Responsible for meeting production schedules, employees training, safety program, and address employee concerns while working with HR.
- Promote employee satisfaction and encourage all employees to excel.
- Complete timely and accurate paperwork.
- Must have ability to gain and retain forklift certification.
- Delegate responsibilities as needed.
- First Aid/CPR Recommended
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Previous supervisory or Lead experience preferred
- 1 year of manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
In terms of a normal workday: Continuously (up to 100%), Frequently (up to 66%), Occasionally (up to 33%),
- Continuously standing or walking for 10-hour shift.
- Frequently load and unload parts into work area to support team members
