About This Job

Nordic Energy Canada Corp. is currently hiring for a Tank Truck Operator position, specifically seeking experienced drivers with Tri-Tri (7 Axle) tractor-trailer experience. The role is based in Clairmont, Alberta, and involves transporting oilfield fluids such as water, oil, and other related materials between well sites and disposal facilities.

Key Responsibilities

•

Safely operate and drive tank trucks to transport oilfield fluids.

•

Ensure all loads are secured, transported, and delivered as per client and company standards.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any issues to maintenance.

•

Hands in paperwork as required by dispatch, administration, and the safety department.

•

Monitor fluid levels and ensure safe and accurate delivery.

•

Load and unload fluids in compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

•

Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork, including hours of service and delivery records.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and field personnel regarding delivery status.

•

Follow all safety regulations and work in compliance with Alberta Transportation and company policies.

•

Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of trucks and equipment as needed.

Requirements

•

Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.

•

.3-5 Years fluid hauling experience

•

Strong understanding of safety protocols, including H2S , TDG, and WHMIS certifications

•

First Aid, H2S tickets. etc

•

Ability to work in all weather conditions, with flexibility for day and night shifts.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

•

Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and extended hours on the road.
