Tank Cleaning Labourer

Prolium Industries specialize in the cleaning of above ground storage tanks for key companies in the Oil & Gas Industry throughout Western. We are currently seeking a skilled Tank Cleaning Labourer to join our team.

As Tank Cleaning Labourer, your responsibilities will include adhering to our cleaning procedures, operating industrial cleaning equipment, such as high-pressure washing trailer, breathing air trailer and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively communicate with team members to ensure operational efficiency

- Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that safety protocols and guidelines are rigorously adhered to by all team members

- Operate various industrial cleaning equipment, including high-pressure washing trailer, breathing air trailer, and heavy machinery

- Entering confined space to clean tank internals

- Adhere to stringent safety protocols and guidelines

- Operate equipment efficiently to meet project requirements

- This position can be physically demanding

Key Qualifications:

- Bring a positive, ‘Can-Do’ and ‘Safety First’ attitude every day

- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations

- Good communication skills; must be fluent in speaking/writing English

- Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment.

- Punctual attendance is a requirement

- Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy equipment

- Must have a valid driver's license

- Willingness to work in various environments and weather conditions

- Knowledge of pumps, diesel engines, pressure washers, supplied breathing air and heavy equipment

- Previous experience in industrial cleaning equipment operation is advantageous

Safety Ticket Requirements:

- H2S Alive

- CSTS 2020/WHMIS 2015

- Confined Space Entry and Rescue

- Skid Steer Certification

- Standard First Aid (an asset)

- Fall Protection (an asset)

- Safety certification and training can be provided to successful applicants should some training be lapsed or missing
