Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This role focuses on server-side technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and supporting virtualized environments, backup and recovery platforms, Linux and Windows servers, and enterprise services across both on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

- Administer and maintain virtual infrastructure using Nutanix AHV and VMware ESXi
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions including HYCU, ExaGrid, Data Domain, and Commvault
- Maintain and support Active Directory environments, including GPOs and replication
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, storage, identity, networking, etc.)
- Contribute to AWS environment administration as needed (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
- Perform patching, upgrades, and system maintenance to ensure availability and performance
- Script and automate tasks (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline operations
- Support and maintain Linux-based systems alongside Windows Server environments
- Work with Okta to support identity and access management in coordination with cloud services
- Support infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools; respond to system alerts and service degradation
- Participate in rotating on-call support for critical systems- 3+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer or similar infrastructure role
- Strong working knowledge of virtualization platforms (Nutanix AHV and/or VMware ESXi)
- Experience with enterprise backup and DR solutions (e.g., HYCU, Commvault, ExaGrid, Data Domain)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, including domain controllers, DNS, and GPOs
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure services and management consoles
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
- Experience supporting both Windows and Linux servers in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of identity management tools such as Okta
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise applications and services
- Scripting/automation with PowerShell or similar tools
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure and cloud migration initiatives
- Exposure to infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, LogicMonitor)
- Microsoft, VMware, or Nutanix certifications are a plus
- This position is based in Canonsburg, PA and is fully in-person
- Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Occasional travel to datacenter or remote sites may be required
