Manages all Linux-based systems and enterprise applications across the organization, including Oracle ERP and IBM Maximo. Responsible for maintaining system stability, application performance, and supporting end users and teams that rely on these platforms. Assists with the administration of the Oracle database environment. Serves as second-tier support for issues within their domain. Evaluates, recommends, and supports technologies that align with the organization's current and future operational goals.

This position requires a range of physical activities to perform job duties effectively. The employee must be able to talk and hear continuously, with or without corrective assistance. Frequent physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as using hands to feel, touch, grasp, or grip tools, objects, or handles. The role also involves regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, with mechanical assistance available as needed. Occasionally, the employee may need to reach overhead, climb, balance, or handle heavier loads up to 150 pounds, again with mechanical support. Visual requirements include near and far acuity, color distinction, peripheral vision, depth perception, frequent changes in focus, and the ability to work in both dim and brightly lit environments. The position also involves the use of mechanical controls such as buttons and knobs, requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

The work environment for this position is generally characterized by good working conditions in a professional office setting. However, the role may occasionally require travel to company production facilities, where the employee may be exposed to varying environmental factors such as heat or cold (both weather-related and non-weather related), dust, dirt, moving or hazardous machinery, electrical hazards, oil, grease, and industrial solvents. In these settings, adherence to established safety policies and procedures is essential, and the employee is responsible for minimizing accidents by always maintaining a safety-first approach. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights and weekends as needed, and up to 20% travel may be expected. Personal protective equipment such as earplugs or hearing protection, safety goggles or glasses, and safety shoes may be required up to 30% of the time while on-site in production areas.
Equipment Used
This position requires regular use of a computer for a variety of tasks including communication, data entry, and report generation, with computer use occurring more than 70% of the time. The employee will also frequently utilize standard office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, copiers, printers, and rolling carts or hand trucks for transporting materials or documents. Occasionally, the role may involve the use of hand tools, calculators, and specialized testing devices such as breakout boxes for signal testing. Familiarity with these tools and the ability to use them safely and effectively is essential to performing the job functions efficiently.
