Job Summary

This entry level field position has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, water transfer operations, water facility and infrastructure construction and maintenance, water equipment surface rentals, containment operations and water transport in order to assist in efficient field operations.

Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 60-mile radius of the Mansfield Field Office (1970 Highway 84, Mansfield, LA 71052) to be considered for this position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Assists with trouble shooting water systems as needed

- Assists with set up and tear down of equipment used on water transfer jobs

- Assists with performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run smoothly

- Assists with coordinating work of contractors including project management expectations

- Assists with inspecting and maintaining water facilities and systems to current specifications

- Assists with the acquisition and management of right-of-way for water transfer operations

- Assists with responding to requests and coordinating our One-Call or Call Before You Dig program

- Performs all duties, and ensures contractors perform all duties, according to Expand's EHSR Guidelines

- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

- Basic knowledge of related equipment and materials

- Ability to provide timely response to operational needs, while maintaining quality of work

- Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution

- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality

- Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records, data entry, set up functions, process information and other office procedures and terminology

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 0 - 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 4 - 6 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

Ability to possess a valid drivers license
