SUMMARY
Join our team as a Party Chief, where your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our projects while fostering a collaborative work environment. RESPONSIBLITIES
•+ Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS, 3D scanners, and total stations.
+ Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including notes, sketches, and reports.
+ CAD experience is a plus (not required)
+ Collaborate with engineers and project surveyors to discuss project requirements and timelines.
+ Train junior staff on surveying techniques and equipment operation.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all surveying activities.
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
•Experience in land surveying with an understanding of surveying principles.
•Proficiency in software such as Trimble Access, Civil 3D is a plus, and Microsoft for data collection, staking, drafting, and data downloads/analysis.
•Experience with 3D scanning technology is preferred.
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work performed.
•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
•A valid driver's license and good driving record is required for travel to job sites.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND/OR WORKING CONDITIONS
•Prolonged periods of standing, & walking
•Interacting with technology (computer, cellphone, etc.)
•Ability to lift and/or carry items up to 75 lbs.
•Driving or flying - to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc.
•Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
