Davis Mining & Mechanics is a fifth-generation miner, family-owned company based in Salmon, Idaho. We know mining because we’ve lived it we understand the demands of the job and the importance of supporting miners and their families. We’re looking to hire skilled Heavy Equipment Operators and Surface Miners to join our growing team.

We are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and proven experience in surface mining or heavy equipment operation. Ideal candidates will have the ability to operate shovels, rubber tire dozers, haul trucks, and or Atlas Copco drills.

We offer highly competitive pay ranging from $32 to $55 per hour, depending on experience. A daily per diem is provided for every day on the job. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. The position follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, offering a balanced work-life routine.
