Job Title: Surface Maintenance Kitter
Reports To: Surface Maintenance Supervisor
Location: New Mexico – East Plant
OVERVIEW
The Surface Maintenance Kitter provides support to the Surface Maintenance department by ensuring that worksite staging areas are accurately set up for successful job completion. This position requires organizational skills, well-rounded technical knowledge and good communications and reporting skills
JOB DUTIES
•Deliver parts, tools and other equipment needed to their respective work groups and/or jobsites on the day the work will be performed or as instructed
•Create requisitions and fulfill “pick tickets” for stock items identified in planned work orders
•Ensure work orders, materials lists, and descriptions of parts are attached and easily visible to maintenance personnel on kitted packages
•Maintain documents such as reports and inventory lists, and provides updates to respective departments
•Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum two (2) years of industrial and/or other applicate experience
•Proficient knowledge in computer programs including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and maintenance management systems
•Understanding of materials requisitions and buyer protocols preferred, but not required

SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
9/80 schedule, Monday – Thursday, 9-hour workdays, Fridays worked, 8-hour workdays, with every other Friday off. Schedule subject to change.
•Outdoors, in a non-temperature controlled environment, and subject to weather conditions
•Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
Employees are required to wear safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping
•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
•Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders, and potentially work at heights, perceive color differences
•Will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed and engage in strenuous physical activity
A pre-placement physical and hair follicle drug test will be required for anyone selected for this opportunity. Placement into the position will not be made until the results are received and cleared by Intrepid.
