Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field or equivalent related work experience. (Typically, six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
Knowledge of document production work environment (production workflow and equipment operation)
Project management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

This position directly supervises approximately seven represented employees who are responsible for the office services functions related to bill print, wide-format printing, and interoffice mail service, and one operations coordinator. This position also directly supervises eight non-represented employees who are responsible for timely and accurate posting and depositing of customer payments. The position is responsible for documenting proper departmental processes and procedures and assuring that best practices and quality controls are in place for both the office services and remittance areas. (35%)
Performs supervisory activities, including employee safety, selection and development of employees, employee counseling and motivation and salary administration. Monitors and coaches for compliance with all safety regulations and policies. Determines and analyzes internal performance measurements as they compare to best practices within the remittance industry. (20%) Analyzes department statistics and trends for accurate reporting, budget forecasting, and operational excellence. (10%)
Analyzes and implements ways to increase the cost-effectiveness and accuracy of customer bill print operations and remittance payment processing and responds to inquiries from internal and external customers. (10%)
This position works directly with the United States Postal Service to analyze and implement processes and programs that allow MidAmerican to obtain postal discounts and maintain compliance with postal regulations to ensure customer bills are mailed in a cost-effective manner. (10%)
Leads or participates on special projects that require a subject matter expert. This may include teams evaluating new processes, equipment, and other department improvements that impact office services. (10%)
