Essential Responsibilities (Responsibilities below may vary depending on Shop Assignment)
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to, saws, polishers, grinders, hand tools, manual milling machines
- Polish and/or rework parts
- Chip cart removal/exchange
- Gauge collection/return
- Perform material handling duties as required
- Follow standard escalation process
- Keep workstation kanban stocked
- Adhere to and follow standard work
- Complete training/certification as required
- Follow detailed verbal and written instructions
- Saw parts
- Fixture setup/prep
- Tool changes/setup/setting
- Ensure machine fluids are full, coordinate emptying as needed
- Perform water spider preventative maintenance (WPM)
- Safely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipment
- Provide production line support (i.e., support operator)
- Participate in process improvements and other activities, as required, to support the Bangor team and site goals
- Communicate effectively and work well with others
- Maintain accurate written and computer records
- Complete monthly/annual online training as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work C shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Pay Rate: The starting pay for this position is $25.6630. This position is also eligible for the 10% of base wage Weekend Shift Bonus. This posting is expected to close Sept 1st, 2025.
