Job Summary
The Supply Chain Contract Specialist is responsible for managing all phases of a contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to administration and closeout. They ensure contracts comply with regulations, protect the organization's interests, and are fulfilled by all parties. This role involves a combination of legal, business, and communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Creating, reviewing, and negotiating complex supplier contract language, terms, and conditions to ensure they are clear, concise, and legally sound.
- Examining existing contracts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and to identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement. Use judgement to analyze contracts and recommend risk mitigation strategies to the business.
- Support and execute the contract lifecycle process, including tracking key dates, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with category, legal, and business teams to gather contract requirements and ensure alignment.
- Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure data integrity.
- Help identify and mitigate basic contractual risks under supervision.
- Participate in supplier onboarding and documentation collection.
- Provide administrative support for sourcing and procurement initiatives.
- Stay informed on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field OR equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of procurement, contract management, or supply chain.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with contract management or ERP systems is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
