We are seeking an experienced strategic thinker for our
Supervisor, Facilities Strategy and Planningopening. This new addition will lead the planning, oversight, and optimization of our real estate portfolio to include: Capital long range forecasting, project budgeting, real estate acquisition/disposition, lease negotiations, space management, building standards, and execution of move services (for non-nuclear sites and facilities). This role plays a critical part in aligning property assets with long-term business objectives, ensuring strategic agility, operational efficiency, and value creation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies that support corporate growth, operational needs, and financial performance
- Analyze market trends, asset performance, and risk factors to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Operations, and Development to align portfolio initiatives
- Oversee portfolio governance, including asset lifecycle planning, acquisition/disposition strategy, and capital allocation
- Lead scenario planning and forecasting to support executive decision-making
- Monitor regulatory and environmental factors impacting portfolio performance
- Leverage data and technology platforms to enhance portfolio visibility and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Management, Project Management or other job related field from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of experience in Engineering, facility management/operations, corporate real estate strategy and portfolio management, construction management, project management or other job related discipline.
- In lieu of bachelor's degree, combination of college coursework and experience equaling eight (8) years is required.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Understanding of project management processes, principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated high quality oral, written and presentation communication skills; high quality interpersonal and people management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and shifting priorities and uncertainty.
- Strong critical thinking and creativity skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment by making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
