Supervisor - Electrical
Location:
East Boulder Mine – McLeod, MT
Schedule:
Rotating - 5x4x4x5
Day Shift: 5:30am – 6:30pm
Night Shift: 5:30pm – 6:30am
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
As the Underground Stationary / Electrical Supervisor, this position oversees all stationary equipment activities, electrical and communications for the mine with a direct report to the Electrical General Foreman. The Stationary / Electrical Maintenance Supervisor's primary task is to make certain all designated work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
•Leadership qualities including character, teamwork, communication, business sense, and vision.
•Proven safety record understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
•Experience in processing plant operations and maintenance.
•Experience with High, Medium and Low voltage Distribution and Installation.
•Working knowledge of Federal and State electric codes and laws.
•Scheduling and planning experience.
•Excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
•1-2 years of underground supervisory experience in the field of maintenance.
•Computer skills Microsoft Office and JD Edwards.
•Good communication skills verbal and written / fair and consistent.
•Understanding of inter-related groups and areas.
•Ability to read schematics.
Education & Experience
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•At least 3-5 years working in a heavy industrial / mining environment with emphasis in electrical and maintenance areas.
