Summary Of Position
Responsible for supervising multiple projects by managing numerous foremen and for acting as an intermediary between the field operations and management by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•
Manage multiple maintenance projects simultaneously by effectively providing technical guidance and managing field personnel.
•
Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
•
Communicates material, equipment and personnel needs to management in a timely manner.
•
Conduct percent of completion analysis to ensure projects are on budget.
•
Provide support for the Operations team by determining production schedules.
•
Partner with foremen to ensure materials and labor for project needs are met.
•
Build relationships with clients and field personnel by conducting weekly job walks.
•
Understand client needs and identify cost effective enhancements and change orders to ensure profitability.
•
Strategize how to improve project performance and exceed goals.
•
Responsible for safety and well-being of their crews.
•
Strategize with Foreman for proper use of equipment to reduce frequency of repairs.
Skills & Competencies
•
Minimum of 3 years' previous construction leadership
•
Bilingual Spanish is not required but highly preferred
•
Ability to read and understand plans and materials lists
•
Experience with irrigation systems and plant materials
