Summer Yard Attendant (Seasonal)

Employment Opportunity

MVRMWC is seeking two individuals for the roles of Seasonal Yard Attendant from April 22, 2025 to August 23, 2025. These positions are a full-time, seasonal summer position (40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm), plus occasional overtime as required to meet workload demands and schedules. The position will report directly to the Operations Manager and is ideal for students or recent graduates.

The Mountain View Regional Waste Management Commission (“MVRMWC”) provides solid waste management services to residents and businesses in Central Alberta. The Commission is owned by the municipalities of Carstairs, Cremona, Didsbury, Olds, Sundre and Mountain View County. MVRWMC operates a Class II Landfill in Didsbury, Alberta and waste transfer stations in Water Valley, and Sundre, Alberta.
