Summer Student - Mechanical Vibration and Stress Analysis

We specialize in vibration and stress analysis of reciprocating compressors /pumps, piping /pipeline and structures, providing expertise to clients worldwide in oil and gas industries. We are currently seeking two highly motivated and talented Mechanical (or Civil) engineering students to join our dynamic team working on vibration and stress analysis.

Responsibilities:

· Perform mechanical vibration and stress analysis of compressor /pump packages, mechanical equipment, piping /pipeline, and structures using various software tools

· Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to mechanical behavior of our products

· Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that our products meet all performance and safety standards

· Provide recommendations and solutions for improving the mechanical design of our products

· Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations related to mechanical behavior analysis

· Take and complete tasks as assigned by the company

· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

· Currently enrolled in a mechanical (or civil) engineering program at an accredited university

· Completed or working towards a Mechanical (or Civil) Engineering Degree

· Knowledge and understanding of mechanical vibration and stress analysis principles

· Experience with vibration and stress analysis of compressor/pump packages, mechanical equipment, piping/pipeline, and structure would be an asset

· Proficiency in using various software tools for mechanical behavior analysis (such as ANSYS, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

· Knowledge of FEA, ANSYS, SAP 2000 and mechanical vibration will be an asset.

· Self-motive, hard-working and a good team player

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
