We are currently hiring for a Summer Engineering Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
•
Assist with layout of projects and new process flows
•
Perform quality checks on products to ensure accuracy and compliance
•
Interpret and understand blueprints
•
Utilize metric and standard conversion systems
•
Apply knowledge of SolidWorks, 2D CAD, and nesting software (experience required)
Expectations / Requirements:
•
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production processes
•
Willingness to take a hands on approach and help in the manufacturing process as needed
•
Understanding of metals and other materials used in fabrication
•
Willingness to learn or ability to operate a forklift
•
Working knowledge of nesting software and G-Code is a plus
•
Comfortable using small tools safely and effectively
•
Ability to troubleshoot and interpret blueprints
•
Punctual, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
•
Strong communication skills and willingness to accept constructive feedback
•
Proactive in asking questions when unsure about a task or procedure
Schedule
Monday – Thursday
Flexible hours between 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation
Starting at $20.00/hour
