As we approach the end of the academic year, SSVEC is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for engineering students. If you're looking to build your resume, gain practical experience, and work with professionals committed to delivering safe and reliable power, consider applying for our Summer Engineering Intern II position.
This internship offers hands-on experience working with our experienced engineers, gaining insight into substation operations, protective relaying, line equipment, and cooperative standards. Our interns assist in various aspects of system design, system protection, and system analysis for power quality. Additionally, they will gain practical skills working with various electronic control systems and protection system equipment and have the chance to exercise their computer-aided drafting skills.
Minimum qualifications: Currently enrolled in a college engineering program or related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred). Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
