YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

The Mine Operations Intern, will be a member of the Mine Department and will be responsible for the coordination of efficient and safe mining operations involving production, pit maintenance and technical services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide support to the Mine Operations team in drilling, blasting and pit services (operational tasks, field based);

- Exposure to short term planning, long term planning, fleet management and surveying;

- As assigned, evaluate and provide input to improve processes in the mine affecting quality, safety and productivity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Our ideal candidate has:

- Student enrolled in a Mining Engineering University Program;

- Experience working at a remote work site is an asset;

- Proven commitment to health, safety and the environment;

- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;

- Exceptional ability to work within a diverse team;

- Attention to detail.
