Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Sulfur Tank Cleaner to join our valued client’s team in Fort St. John, BC. This is a contract position ideally suited to an individual committed to safety, quality, and reliability. The successful candidate must be local to the Fort St. John area and capable of working within confined spaces.
- Perform cleaning, inspection, and maintenance tasks inside sulfur storage tanks and vessels.
- Safely enter and work within confined space environments following all required protocols.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools effectively.
- Comply with all safety and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and any maintenance issues promptly.
- Must be local to Fort St. John, BC.
- Valid Confined Space Entry certification (must be current).
- Demonstrated experience in industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, or similar field work.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and hazard awareness.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and in varying weather conditions.
- H2S Alive certification.
- First Aid Level 1 or higher.
- Experience in oil and gas or industrial site maintenance.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in industrial settings, including sulfur tanks and confined spaces. The role requires wearing full PPE and working in potentially high-temperature or odorous environments.
- $30 per hour compensation.
- Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project requirements.
