Substation Superintendent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Substation Superintendent is responsible for the direction of all contractors performing work within the substation and/or switchyard, and any other resources assigned within the substation.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

+ Contract management, management of sub-contractors, vendors, and materials + Construction drawing review, drawing quantity takeoff, reporting, writing skills + Relationship building, leadership, team building, mentor and facilitator, interpersonal skills + Interpretation of a project schedule, planning, interpretation of scopes of work, decision-making + Adaptability to environment, working in a fast-paced environment + Developing logical and resource-loaded project schedules, estimating work efforts, development of processes and procedures + Continuous improvement, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management + Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio), job costing or accounting software
