About the position:

The incumbent of this position will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable department in the execution of various accounting activities within the Finance group. This person will work at the Montreal head office during the summer period (exact dates to be determined with the selected candidate).

This position is ideal for familiarizing with the various aspects of accounting in a large company, as well as with cutting-edge technologies (SAP Invoice Management by OpenText) that promote a paperless environment.

Responsabilities:

Valero Energy Inc. is governed by the Charter of the French language. A functional knowledge of English is not a requirement but is an asset when it comes to performing the duties of this position. The incumbent may be called upon to refer to documents and interact with colleagues in other Canadian provinces or with English-speaking suppliers.
