Structural Professional Engineer

Description of Duties:

- Oversee designs of a team of 8 designers

- Review and assist in creating structural plan designs for VFP concrete and light weight metal shelters

- Serve as technical expert in functional area to troubleshoot and resolve any design related issues

- Check and stamp/seal structural designs on a daily basis

- Site visits as needed

- Expert knowledge of the structural and building codes – ACI and IBC

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer PE

- Minimum B.S. degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited university

- Proven track record of a problem-solving mindset

- Ability to work and function with a broad range of personalities and skill sets

- Strong leadership skills

- Ability to utilize data to prioritize efforts

- Hands-on attitude

- PE License in multiple states – TX, TN, OH, MI, SC, VA, FL, CA, MO

Desired but Not Required:

- Additional states are preferred – as many as possible – 25+
