We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and analysis of steel and concrete structures for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating robust foundations, retaining walls, and support systems for processing plants, pipelines, and facilities. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural integrity, compliance with industry standards, and optimal performance under operational loads.
- Design and analyze concrete structures including foundations, retaining walls, and building column footers for oil and gas installations.
- Develop steel structures such as platforms, canopies, braces, and support frames, ensuring they withstand environmental and operational stresses.
- Perform structural modeling, simulations, and load calculations using SAP2000 for finite element analysis and overall structural behavior.
- Utilize IDEA Statica for detailed connection design, verification, and optimization of steel joints and assemblies.
- Conduct site assessments, prepare detailed engineering drawings, and coordinate with CAD teams for integration into project models.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (e.g., ASCE, ACI, AISC) and industry regulations for safety and durability.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and clients to refine designs based on project requirements and feedback.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and construction documentation.
- Participate in quality control reviews and on-site inspections as needed.
