Street Sweeper Driver

We are looking for a skilled street sweeper driver to run a truck for an environmental construction company in Leander, Texas. You will be responsible for cleaning developing neighborhoods throughout the South Austin area.

Truck:

· 2024 Peterbilt 220 TYMCO 600 Street Sweeper

Work Schedule:

· Wednesday – Sunday (Flexible with days/hours besides Saturday/Sunday)

Pay:

· $18 - $21 / Hour with (50-65 hours per week)

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license – Class B CDL required.

· 2+ years’ experience driving a Commercial Vehicle and safe driving record.

· Prior experience in Street Sweeper is a plus but training is available.

· Have great attention to detail and great attitude!

Responsibilities:

· Operate the street sweeper safely and efficiently, ensuring thorough cleaning of roadways and public spaces.

· Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, addressing mechanical issues as needed. We have a designated mechanic to maintain PM and major mechanical repairs when needed.

· The driver will be responsible for the Truck and cleaning the truck after every shift.

· Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and respond to community needs.

· Adhere to safety protocols while driving and operating machinery in various environments.
