Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Job Responsibilities:
•Adds or removes and adjusts items to storeroom.
•Performs accurate cycle counts and makes necessary corrections to quantity, descriptions, and locations.
•Assists in the specification of parts or supplies that need to be ordered.
•Provides “Off Hour Help Chain” assistance periodically.
•Receives incoming materials/supplies, either manually or by operating fork truck.
•Unloads from trucks or van.
•Checks items for accuracy and condition, then properly receives items into the computer system.
•Marks store number on items and places stock in proper location.
•Delivers items to designated departments as required.
•Prepare and ships outgoing packages.
Education/Experience Requirements:
•Operates fork truck and electric carts.
•Must have valid fork truck license or the ability to obtain one.
•Working knowledge of Oracle computer system, MVP CMMS, basic office software, and internet.
•Provides input to all departments regarding vendor performance.
•Monitors storeroom quantities and makes adjustments to prevent excessiveness or stock outs.
•Determines needs for Kaizen activities and champions them.
•Must have excellent Customer/Supplier relationship attitude.
•Uses the “Help Chain” appropriately when needed.
