Barrie Welding and Machine is looking for someone with strong organizational / communication skills for our STEEL WAREHOUSE.
- Properly able to read a measuring tape (measure twice, cut once!)
- Unloading of steel / sorting / placement of inventory
- Cutting steel to specified sizes using various band saws and shear
- Organizing of raw materials within our facility
- Filling Orders for customers and our shop
You are a Self Starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
You have the ability to safely handle heavy parts/steel using overhead cranes
Your Quality and Attention to detail are the utmost importance !
You are capable of working within a team and on your own
You are a self-starter and you can work independently safely
Being a jobbing shop there is overtime that is required
$22 - $ 27 Per Hr. based on your experience!

- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A SHOP ENVIROMENT - CUTTING STEEL / HANDLING STEEL .
- Must have worked with steel, cutting using a oxy acetylene torch & band saws
- Crane experience would be an asset to place raw material away into racks
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- This is not a Shipping & Receiving position
