Oversee operations in our steel fabrication and welding cells, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities
•Coordinates production in accordance with policies and principles established by Manager, Steel Plant.
•Manages plant employees, provides guidance, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
•Issues part tag identification for raw materials, in-process, and finished parts; oversees inventory cycle counts for raw and in-process materials.
•Reviews daily production rates, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine conformity in meeting established operational goals.
•Conducts spot quality checks, ensures compliance with established procedures, and has the authority to halt production for quality concerns.
•Authority to stop production for any quality issues and work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Inventory and Steel Plant Managers to optimize production.
•Input of daily raw material usage to manufacturing orders.
•Inventory cycle counts of raw and in-process material.
•Reviews and recommends equipment maintenance needs to Manager Steel Plant.
•Oversee daily operations to ensure production aligns with company policies and objectives.
•Monitors workflow efficiency and adjusts as needed to meet production targets.
•Identifies maintenance needs, coordinates repairs, and ensures optimal equipment performance.
•Ensures adherence to union agreements and work rules.
•Other duties may be assigned.
Experience
•Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college; or 1+ year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability work Monday through Friday.
•Must have good computer skills.
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Pay: $60,405.00 - $67,000.00 per year
