Overview:
The Steakholder Relations Analyst individual will be primarily responsible for supporting engagement with directly affected Stakeholders near the customer’s operations. Much of the position includes establishing relationships, listening to Stakeholder feedback, building trust, communicating development activities and understanding community perspectives.
Responsibilities:
•Work across internal disciplines and with affected stakeholders to address concerns regarding impacts of oil and gas development.
•Build and maintain relationships with key community members that foster trust, resolve conflict and enhance customer’s social license to operate.
•Provide support for the drafting and formatting of company operations data and communications.
•Represent the customer publicly at community open houses and neighborhood meetings.
•Ancillary job duties may include the supervision of documentation of Stakeholder interactions via database entry/management, managing feedback/survey response data, and facilitating projects with other external-facing departments (Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Permitting, Land, etc.).
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Political Science, Business, or related field.
•Experience in direct community engagement.
•Understanding and knowledge of basic oil and gas operations.
•Must possess excellent communication skills.
•Has a high level of enthusiasm for work and represents self professionally.
•Proven ability to translate technical language into simple, easy-to-understand communication.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
