Stainless Steel Shop Helper (pay depends on experience)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shop Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting with various tasks related to fabrication and assembly. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

- Assist in the setup and operation of machinery and equipment for production tasks

- Utilize various hand tools daily

- Must be able to use and read tape measures accurately

- Must be familiar with shearing, cutting and deburring of stainless steel materials

- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

- Operate a forklift for material handling within the shop environment.

- Adhere to all OSHA safety rules and regulations

Skills

- Proficiency in using various hand tools

- Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

- Previous experience in a shop site environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
