As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in our Corporate Finance Team, applying advanced accounting principles to maintain accurate records, analyze financial data, and provide valuable insights to leadership.
This role requires a seasoned accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and budgeting. You will work independently on complex accounting functions, support business leaders with financial analysis, and contribute to continuous process improvements. What You’ll Do
•Financial Reporting & Analysis: Maintain and analyze accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
•Corporate Budgeting: Assist operation and business unit leaders in the preparation of annual budgets.
•Month-End & Year-End Close: Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, analyze expenses and produce financial statements and supporting schedules.
•Audit & Advisory Support: Provide insights and recommendations to managers, assist with internal and external audits, and improve operational procedures.
•Process Improvement & Systems: Lead efforts to streamline financial processes, assist with system upgrades, and support automation initiatives.
•Strategic Partnering: Act as a financial advisor to business leaders, leveraging data to guide decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
•Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, business analytics, or a related area.
•Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience
•Advanced Accounting Expertise: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and compliance requirements. Must have solid general ledger accounting experience, ideally within an ERP environment such as Microsoft Dynamics SL.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas).
•Problem-Solving & Advisory: Ability to work independently, analyze complex financial data, and provide strategic recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry.
•Familiarity with general ledger mapping and customized payroll reporting within payroll software such as ADP.
•Experience assisting with external audits and process optimization.

•Anticipated salary range for this position is $73,000 - $109,000 and is based on applicable experience and location
