The Senior Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions across the supply chain organization. This position will have a dynamic and evolving portfolio of data-driven responsibilities, including—but not limited to—foundational reporting, monitoring and optimizing system parameters, automating processes, analyzing complex datasets related to supply and demand, identifying drivers of performance and risk, and recommending policies and processes to optimize supply chain performance. The analyst will lead or contribute to both short-term (hours to days) and long-term (weeks to months) initiatives related to planning, purchasing, sourcing, inventory, and shipping, and may also collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams. Success in this role requires a problem-solving mindset, strong technical and analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights effectively across teams and leadership levels.
- Perform ad hoc queries and analyses of supply chain data to troubleshoot issues and support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supply chain performance.
- Analyze supply and demand mappings—including MRP, ATP, and allocation—to support supply planning and inventory forecasting.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end processes.
- Lead root cause analyses for delivery performance issues, focusing on OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and OTD (On-Time Delivery) metrics.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and system integration.
- Conduct scenario modeling and simulation to support strategic planning and risk mitigation.
- Generate data-driven predictions to identify potential risks and forecast outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, policies, and role definitions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Support buyers and analysts by developing new tools and fostering team development and knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or a related role.- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong SQL skills (read and write) and experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, PMP).
- Experience with ERP (e.g., Syspro, SAP), WMS (e.g., Manhattan), and planning systems (Blue Yonder, Logility, PlanetTogether).
- Knowledge of regression, discrete simulation, optimization, AI, and machine learning methods.
- Ability to write code in Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

- Physical Demands: Lifting up to 25 lbs., sitting and talking on the phone and computer for long periods of time.
- Travel Requirements: As needed, less than 5% of the time.
