What You'll Do
About this role:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing overall administrative, technical, financial, and resource management of the project from initial bid preparation through completion. Responsible for delivering the project safely, in accordance with quality standards, on time, and within budget. Ability to provide guidance and oversee multiple project managers or assistant project managers.
•Knowledge of project management, project controls, estimating, construction, finance, and contract management.
•Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and activities for Transmission, Distribution, Substation and Drilling of Foundations for electrical and renewable energy.
•Accounting (math and record-keeping) to include the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations as needed to examine construction operations.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).
•Familiar with Primavera P6, JD Edwards, Hubble, EcoSys, Incorta, and HCSS heavy job technology platforms.
•Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening) and ability to lead meetings.
•Effective motivational and supervisory skills.
•Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
•Ability to travel and work on project locations is essential.
•Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, financial reports, and legal documents.

Education and Experience:
•Four-year construction science, construction management, construction engineering, engineering, or similar related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
•Minimum of ten years project or construction management or project controls experience in similar construction.
•Thorough knowledge of all aspects of project management, project controls, contract management, budgeting, estimating, schedules, negotiations, construction management (technology, equipment, methods), and safety required.
