Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. designs and fabricates high quality Pressure Vessels and Heat Transfer Equipment for the power generation and process industries worldwide. The Senior Production Scheduler is responsible for production control operations within the shop, including but not limited to production planning, materials planning, scheduling, project management, department coordination, systems coordination and performance monitoring. Essential Responsibilities:
•Create and monitor manufacturing orders as needed within the shop for assigned projects.
•Generate and monitor build-to-inventory and after-market sales manufacturing orders to ensure that all applicable costs have been captured.
•Assist in generating and maintaining the shop capacity reports.
•Weekly schedule review meetings will be held with all controlling departments in order to provide updates.
•Generate and maintain all assigned production schedules for projects fabricated in the Joplin shop.
•Inform team and management of status of projects and any issues that arise, as well as working with the team to ensure changes to the work scope are managed within DMS.
•Assist Sales in developing proposal schedules and capacity planning.
•Coordination and communication with functional management and process team members is vital.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: • Associates Degree a plus, but not required.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus but not required.
•5 years of experience scheduling capital projects.
•5 years of experience as a planner or scheduler for a manufacturing facility is a plus.
•Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus.
•Proficiency in the use of general Business software; MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
•Primavera Scheduling Software (P6) and MS Project experience is required.
•Familiarity with MRP and/or ERP systems.
