Senior Principal Program Manager – CAES by Honeywell Mission Systems | Lansdale, PA

Responsibilities
What You’ll Lead
As Program Manager at CAES by Honeywell Lansdale, you won’t just manage—you’ll architect success across mission-critical defense programs. Your leadership will drive precision, performance, and partnership at every level.
Strategic Program Ownership
- Develop executable plans that exceed targets for orders, revenue, profitability, and cash flow
- Define program objectives aligned with customer needs and national defense priorities
- Shape strategies that deliver results while advancing company and mission goals
- Build and execute communication plans that amplify the Voice of the Customer
- Cultivate trusted relationships with defense and aerospace partners
- Drive satisfaction through transparency, responsiveness, and delivery excellence
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical milestones
- Coordinate Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to fulfill contractual obligations
- Optimize manpower, resources, and subcontractor performance to maximize impact
- Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies from planning through execution
- Establish and manage reserves to navigate unexpected challenges
- Drive issue resolution through structured identification, action planning, and closure
- Conduct regular performance reviews to track progress and forecast outcomes
- Challenge task estimates to eliminate inefficiencies and improve velocity
- Champion process upgrades, team development, and tool enhancements
- Create roadmaps to expand business opportunities from current programs
- Contribute to capital planning, IRAD strategy, and B&P resource allocation
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and 8 years’ work experience within the DoD industry or a Master's Degree with 5 years’ experience - Experience managing $3M+ US Defense related programs.
- Strong financial acumen associated with proposal pricing, contract negotiations and estimate costs at completion.
- Experience developing and managing program schedules
- Proven ability to build and maintain relevant internal and external relationships, with strong customer rapport and proven customer trust.
- Experience in successfully driving program performance against business and customer goals.
- In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) as this role requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET security clearance.- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and 10+ years’ work experience within the DoD industry or a Master's Degree with 3+ years’ experience
- Experienced Program Manager on Antennas, Precision Positioners, and/or RF/Microwave programs with the DoD industry.
- Multi-discipline experience in Program Management, Operations Management, Business Development, or Engineering.
- B.S in Engineering.
- PMI Certification.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.

Salary Range: Program Manager VI:
$157,388.19 - $243,600.83 Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
